These Sales Terms govern every sale of products by Sylon. Nothing here removes or reduces any mandatory consumer rights that apply in your country or state. Where local law offers you more favorable protection, that law prevails.

1) Identity & Contact

Return address: provided by email after approval (RMA). Unauthorized returns may be refused or delayed.
Please include in the email subject your order number, a clear reason, your invoice, the carrier tracking number (if available), and photos/videos where relevant.
If purchased via a reseller, contact the retailer first and follow their policy.

2) Scope & Acceptance

By placing an order, you confirm you have read and accept: these Sales Terms, the Terms of Service, the Shipping Policy, the Returns & Refunds Policy, the Pre-orders/Drops Policy (if published), and the Privacy Policy.
Checkout consent (checkbox): checkout requires you to tick “I have read and agree…,” including the estimated Drop timelines (e.g., 5–7 weeks production after close, 1–2 weeks shipping after dispatch).
Order button: where required by law, the button states “Place order — obligation to pay.”
If you do not agree, do not place an order.

3) Product info, images & compatibility

  • Images/renders: for illustration only; minor variations in shade, finish, or marking may occur.

  • Compatibility/performance: provided in good faith and can vary with environment, maintenance, mouse-feet wear, cleanliness, and manufacturing tolerances.

  • Simulator: shows realistic trends; it is not a scientific instrument.

4) Prices, taxes, duties & fees

Unless stated otherwise, prices are exclusive of taxes, customs duties, brokerage fees, and shipping.
Shipping fees are shown at checkout. Taxes/duties owed in your country are your responsibility and are not refunded by Sylon.

5) Order, contract formation & legitimate refusal

  • Process: product selection → cart → payment → automatic acknowledgment (not final acceptance).

  • Acceptance: the sale is formed when we confirm shipment.

  • Refusal/cancellation by Sylon: possible for a legitimate reason (obvious price/description mistake, unavailability, suspected fraud, return-abuse, breach of these terms, sanctions/export flags).

6) Payment & security

Full payment is due at order. Anti-fraud tools and verifications (e.g., identity/address) may be required before shipment. Any payment failure allows Sylon to cancel the order.

7) Pre-orders, launches & limited editions

  • Pre-orders: unless stated otherwise, charged immediately to reserve your unit. Ship dates are estimates only; they may change, be postponed, or split (quality, compliance, shortages, logistics, transport, customs, force majeure).

  • No cancellation before receipt (commercial policy): a paid pre-order is not cancellable before delivery and receipt, except where mandatory local law grants a right in case of significant delay (then you may accept the new date or cancel for a refund of the product price).

  • Drops — estimated windows: production 5–7 weeks after close date; shipping 1–2 weeks after dispatch (region/carrier dependent).

  • Quality hold: Sylon may delay shipment to perform additional quality checks.

  • Limited editions: not exchangeable. If a manufacturing defect is confirmed after investigation: replacement with a non-limited but equivalent item (specs, quality, value) with a unique appearance, or a refund as required by law.

  • No indirect compensation: unless required by law, Sylon does not compensate consequential/indirect costs (travel, lodging, opportunity loss) due to delays.

  • Pre-order returns (change of mind): where available locally, they occur after delivery, via the Returns & Refunds Policy. For made-to-order / limited-run series, return costs and risks are yours, and a tracked service is mandatory (unless local law provides otherwise).

8) Shipping, delivery & transfer of risk

Full rules are in the Shipping Policy. In short:

  • Handling: typically 1–3 business days (longer during launches).

  • Transit: indicative timelines; new estimated dates are emailed if delayed.

  • Tracking: sent by email after shipment (may take 24–48 h to update).

  • Risk transfer: at delivery to the agreed point. If you authorize no-signature/safe-drop, risk transfers when the carrier marks delivered.

  • Forwarders / your own carrier: accepted at your risk for onward movement; Sylon’s responsibility ends upon proof of delivery to the address provided.

9) Retention of title

Goods remain Sylon’s property until paid in full. Risk transfers at delivery.

10) Returns, withdrawal & refunds

See the Returns & Refunds Policy. Key points:

  • RMA required: email approval before any return.

  • Change of mind: handled per your local law (EU/UK distance-selling withdrawal, where applicable) and, otherwise, under our commercial policy. Return shipping is at your cost (unless local law says otherwise).

  • Condition: return as sold, complete, clean, undamaged; otherwise refusal or fair deduction for loss of value.

  • Pre-orders: no cancellation before receipt (except legal delay rights); otherwise any refund occurs after a compliant return.

  • Made-to-order / limited-run: returns are at your cost and risk; tracked service required and protective packaging suitable for glass.

  • Non-refunded fees: unless required by law, outbound shipping, return shipping, and taxes/duties/brokerage are not refunded (EU/UK: refund of the standard outbound fee upon withdrawal).

11) Legal guarantees & exclusions

Nothing limits your non-waivable legal rights (e.g., EU/EEA legal guarantee of conformity). Beyond those, products are provided “as is” with no additional warranty.

12) Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sylon’s total liability for any claim related to a product or the sale is limited to the amount paid for that product. Sylon is not liable for indirect, special, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages, or loss of data, revenue, or profits, unless such exclusion is not permitted by law.

13) Fraud prevention, abuse & chargebacks

Sylon may refuse, block, or cancel an order in cases of suspected fraud, return abuse, or abusive chargebacks. Verifications (ID/address) may be requested. Sylon may retain visual evidence related to returns. Returns of an item different from the one shipped are refused.

14) Export compliance & sanctions

You confirm the final destination is not subject to sanctions and agree not to export/re-export in violation of export control laws.

15) Force majeure

Sylon is not liable for delay or non-performance caused by events beyond reasonable control (natural disasters, governmental acts, war, terrorism, cyberattacks, strikes, major outages, shortages, fires, floods, pandemics, health restrictions, logistics blockages, supplier/carrier failures). Obligations are suspended during the event; Sylon may reschedule or cancel with no liability other than refunding amounts paid for undelivered goods/unperformed services.

16) Personal data

Processing of your data is described in our Privacy Policy. By ordering, you acknowledge you have read and understood it.

17) Governing law & jurisdiction

Mandatory consumer-protection rules in your location apply where more protective.
Subject to that, these Sales Terms are governed by French law.
The courts of Paris (France) have non-exclusive jurisdiction. You may also sue in your local courts where the law allows.

18) Changes

Sylon may update these Sales Terms for legal, technical, or business reasons. The applicable version is the one presented and accepted at purchase (timestamped). For material changes affecting ongoing pre-orders, we will notify and, where required, seek consent or allow cancellation with refund.

19) Language & interpretation

If translations differ, the version displayed at checkout prevails, subject to mandatory local law. Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
